That'd be pretty cool! I've only watched up to rebuild 2.0 unfortunately Lol. I haven't really been keeping up with new anime as they come out either.
Yes, wig styling tips would be helpful lol. What snags have you run in while constructing a costume and how have you solved or worked around them?
Yes, light beers suck LOL. Guinness is one of my favorites. The weirdest one I've had was a chocolate espresso stout. Not too bad I must say.
We torrented 3.33 to see it, but so worth it! I’ll probably be out here pretty soon. If this is your first time wig styling, you may have a bit of difficulty with it, do to the strange cut of the hairline. Try getting a cheap wig first that you can practice cutting up before you start taking apart a good one (called a mock-up, it helps with fabric too, using something cheap like muslin). Then use hair gel and a blowdryer on a low setting to get all those wisps and stray hairs he’s got to stay in place. Because his hair generally looks slicked back also, you may want to carefully part back the hair fibers and glue them into place to make it look like something super greased back from Grease XD - I did he same with the front of my Siren wig so I didn’t have to worry about bangs hanging down.
I'm sure you get this alot, but you're cosplay's are awesome! Such a variety of costumes, how do you keep up? Lol. I'd have to say the Asuka costumes are my favorite. I met Tiffany Grant, the English voice actor for Asuka not too long ago. xD speaking of which. I've thought of cosplaying Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho, was wondering if you had any tips for a novice?
Ooo and also, how good is this moose drool brown ale? Lol.
Thank you! I used to make a lot of Asuka outfits, but they’ve dropped off a bit. I’d like to eventually do her test suit from Rebuild 3.33, but properly with vinyl and latex.
The variety of costumes is usually from old school anime or video games, since I have trouble keeping up with all the new shows and games coming out all the time lol. I usually just have a list of characters I want to eventually make, or if I really like the design of something new, I have to eventually make it! I’m not sure what kind of tips you’d like, specifically sewing the uniform, styling a wig?
And yes! It’s delicious! I mean, you probably have to like dark ales, but it’s like caramel candy to me <3
