Angel from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - photos by the talented Carroll Kong. 

This costume was a labor of love, I remember playing with Angel back when Tekken 2 came out 15 years ago, and was thrilled when she was brought back as a playable character in TTT2. The wings were made specifically for this costume to be large but easy to transport, to be worn without shoulder straps (for obvious reasons), and disconnect into three pieces at the joints to fit in a suitcase.

This set of wings are completely re-engineered from my previous ones, made to be less than 5lbs and disconnect into 3 pieces for easy packing into a standard suitcase. 

A majority selection of the new costumes made/worn in 2012. In compilation I’ve actually worn 14 new costumes this year if I count ones I’ve fixed up or remade, that’s just crazy.

So many thanks to my beloved friends who agreed to be in groups or invited me into theirs, helped me with costumes and wigs, and just provided emotional support; to my most talented photographers for putting up with me, delivering on fantastic photoshoots, and continually making the beginning to end process of making a costume feel completely worth it; and to my friends who were so gracious to act as bag carriers, escorts, and photoshoot helpers at conventions, it means so much to me!
